I even have the 3D accessories, a Sony PlayStation three and a laptop hooked to the TV. Most of the content I watch is on the web over the pc, streaming Netflix, and Amazon Video on Demand. The 3D result may be a novelty. Once the new wears off i will be able to place the 3D glasses in a very draw and chuck them. I would like I purchased a more cost-effective TV that doesn't have 3D. aside from my disappointment with 3D, i'm quite proud of the TV. CONNECTIONS: My laptop and PlayStation are each connected to the TV with 12' long cheap HDMI cables purchased from Harbor Freight (seller of low-cost tools). The 3D starter pack I purchased came with a ""High-speed HDMI cable..... (for the) transfer of each 3D video and audio signals"". to date the cheap HDMI cable looks to figure fine even with 3D content. The TV is additionally connected to the web with a cat five cable. it's WiFi however I did not want it (or attempt it). I even have high speed web access through the native cable supplier. I even have experienced no bother streaming content. ANTENNA: i purchase identical range of channels over the air as I did after I had a seven year previous generic HD TV. there's an onscreen program guide. throughout setup the TV asked if I wished the programming guide from the web or from over-the-air. I selected the web possibility.
