I even have the most recent firmware, the ferrite cores put in round the power wire, and also the tv is sitting aloof from the wall. It BUZZES, plain and easy. If you are anywhere in front of the TV itself, it are often heard. If you progress your head beyond the bezel of the TV, the buzzing goes away nearly 100. I sit fifteen feet away and might clearly hear it throughout low volume. i am making an attempt to stay the quantity loud enough to drown it out, however throughout quiet scenes I hear it. it is a terribly high pitched frequency. My folks cannot hear it (56 years old), however I clearly will (27 years old). My girlfriend will hear it however she says it does not hassle her. It bothers me, to the purpose where i'm not enjoying the TV. I contacted ABT (one of the sellers listed here on Amazon) and that they merely state ""all plasmas buzz."" whereas that's true to an extent, they do not buzz like this model. each of my brother's have plasmas. One could be a 58b550 that does not buzz like this, the opposite could be a 60"" Pioneer Kuro that does not buzz like this. I even have a Samsung tech beginning soon, however i am fairly assured on what's going to be said, either a) it is a traditional sound or b) i am going to want a whole new panel.
