Panasonic VIERA 22 Widescreen LCD HDTV In Black

Customer Reviews : Panasonic TC-L22X2

We got this LCD to replace a 15 year old 26 inch RCA tube TV in our bedroom. There are a hundreds of small frames available, but anything over ~ 15"" with any degree of quality has been insanely expensive. The picture quality is absolutely outstanding, with great clarity and color. It has beautiful imagery and great sound. Our room is 12x12 and I can't believe these reviewers that put a 42 inch TV in their 12x12 bedrooms.

This little LCD hasn't got the credit it deserves, (3. It's also extremely lightweight, making it easy to wall mount with an aftermarket bracket (couldn't find the Panasonic bracket on Amazon). If you need to upgrade a TV for your bedroom, this TV is an excellent choice. All text is very easy to read from 10 feet away. I've been looking for a large digital photo frame for my living room for almost a year. The 17"" - 19"" frames I found were running upwards of $250 to $300 and the 20"" - 22"" frames were in the $800 - $1,000 range, even at after Christmas ""sale"" prices. That's insane! I was about to give up when I found this television which fits the bill perfectly for $200. It's got a built in cardslot that will read up to 32 GB SDHC cards and a random slideshow feature that's as clear and easy to use as any digital frame I've owned (I've got three: 1 Coby, 1 Nix, and 1 Kodak). Consequently for my purposes it's perfect. I don't care about the sound quality, only the picture, and I can't tell the difference between this and the higher resolution models when it comes to displaying pictures. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I have always been a fan of Panasonic and as a matter of fact have a 50"" Panasonic in the family room. But they apparently are trying to cut costs on this model. The audio is so bad that the only way to hear anything from a few feet away is to maximize the treble setting, minimize the bass setting, and turn the volume up to its maximum setting. Unfortunately this creates a very ""tinny"" sound that is not something that a tv in this price range should have.5 stars ??). We were contemplating a 26 inch LCD, but decided to go with the 22 inch. We are very big fans of all TVs Panasonic; 1 plasma, 1 TAU and now 1 LCD. The menu is very intuitive with many options to fine tune the picture and audio. Speakers are just fine for a bedroom. The docking system is great. Way too big. With the lights on the TV appears small but the picture is so clear and crisp it makes up for it. With the lights off you would be hard pressed to guess it's only a 22 inch.

I purchased this for my daughter's bedroom, and it is just the right size, not too small to see, not too large to fit on her desk. I've read other reviews concerning the sound, and I will give you a fair assessment. ...(more)
