First off i need to be clear regarding the type of review this can be meant to be. i'm not a profession TV rater. i'm not a videophile. i'm a daily Joe and that i am reviewing this for the regular Joe who is brooding about spending over usual on a decent quality tv. throughout successive few months, i am certain you'll realize a additional skilled review from the same old places... except for currently, this can be my impressions.
CORNER LIGHT: when reading several reviews on last years B8000 and this year's C7000, i used to be worried regarding the sunshine that emits from the corners. I've seen displays of last year's B8000 and this year's C7000 and have terribly simply seen what folks are talking regarding. I took an enormous gamble in getting this TV before I scan if folks were having problems with this C8000. therefore let me say... when watching this TV for regarding five hours per day for three days... I actually have NOT seen the sunshine returning from the sides as seen on alternative sets. And believe me i have been wanting. i attempted to search out it watching the HD take advantage of Time Warner Cable, Blu-ray's from the PS3, Blu-Ray's from the Samsung 3D Blu-Ray player, watching at nighttime, throughout the day... Nothing. I simply don't see it!
LOOKS: Samsung UN55C8000 TV appearance simply wonderful. it's a really dark black screen. it's as lovely turned off because it will on. i used to be nervous regarding the comb metal look, however it truly appearance terribly nice and compliments the new chromed four-legged stand.
